Semmes received her Juris Doctor from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2014. During law school, Semmes served on the Law School Student Body Executive Board and as the Vice President of the American Constitution Society. Semmes also worked as a Guardian ad Litem for the law school’s Child Advocacy Clinic. Through her work assisting under privileged children and their parents navigate Mississippi’s judicial system, Semmes found her legal calling in complex family law matters.
Prior to relocating to Hawaii, Semmes worked as an associate at one of the oldest and most respected litigation firms on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Rushing & Guice, LLC. As an associate attorney for Christopher D. Thomas, ALC, Semmes is passionate about her work, and advocating for her clients, in and out of the courtroom.
In her free time, Semmes enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to the beach.
